Woodland Hills is an affluent, more urban-suburban neighborhood in the southwestern area of the San Fernando Valley. With Warner Center at the core of the business district, Woodland Hills enjoys a strong financial establishment, an upscale residential base, the finest health care, outstanding retail and dining facilities, excellent educational institutions, and recreational opportunities all in beautiful Southern California.

Woodland Hills is home to 2 big malls, Topanga and The Westfield Promenade. Every big name retailer and smaller chains and restaurants can be found here. There are also many small local shops and restaurants in and around town. From the ever popular Soles and Bead Lounge on Topanga to Ventura staples like Lily’s Café, Monty Steak House and Dan’s Subs, Woodland Hills is becoming a very diverse and cultural city.

Woodland Hills is home to the Woodland Hills Country Club, a private equity golf club. The country club is complete with golf course, fine dining, and entertainment options.

The Woodland Hills Recreation Center has a small indoor gym and also has a lighted baseball diamond, outdoor-lighted basketball courts, a children’s play area, a lighted football field, picnic tables, a lighted soccer field, lighted tennis courts and an outdoor pool.  The Warner Center Park, Serrania Park  and Alizondo are 3 other popular parks as well as Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, a regional park with a trail network for miles of hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian rides.

Public schools serving Woodland Hills are under the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Unified School District. There are 7 Elementary schools including Woodlake Ave, Calvert and Lockhurst. 2 Middle schools ; 3 High Schools and 9 Private schools including Chaminade and Louisville High School for girls.
