Agoura Hills is located on the Las Virgenes Unified School District. There are 10 schools in the City of Agoura. One of the highest rated schools is Lindero Canyon Middle School, which is rated 10.

Oak Park Unified School District (OPUSD), which has three elementary schools (K-5), a middle school (6-8), Oak Park High School (9-12), and Oak View High School (an alternative high school for ages 16 and above) serve Oak Park.

Though not an incorporated city, through the work and efforts of its then residents, it was able in 1977 to form its own school district, the Oak Park Unified School District (OPUSD), by seceding from the Simi Valley Unified School District. Today, Oak Park has three grade K-5 elementary schools, one grade 6-8 middle school, and two grades 9-12 high schools. The OPUSD is considered to be among the finest in the state (public and private). Its schools regularly receive “Distinguished School” and other prestigious awards. Dedicated in February of 2004 and adjacent to Oak Park High, the Oak Park community Library is run under a joint operating agreement between OPUSD and the County of Ventura. The schools draw families with children of all ages to the area. With it’s extremely low crime rate, small size, temperate weather and friendly amenities Oak Park has become a highly sought-after neighborhood in which to raise a family or even retire!
